Support services

Through Metropolitan Support Trust (MST) our specialist care and support organisation, we currently support over 5,000 people annually to live independent lives across London, the Midlands and Yorkshire. MST puts people at the heart of what it does, adapting and designing services to meet a diverse range of need.

MST’s client groups include (among others):

  • mental health service users
  • people with learning disabilities
  • older people
  • young people
  • teenage parents
  • asylum seekers
  • refugees
  • women escaping domestic violence
  • people with substance misuse problems
  • homeless people and families
  • people with HIV and AIDS.

We celebrate the diversity of MST’s services and its service users. We see it as a strength. MST is able to share its specialist knowledge of each particular client group, learning from its staff and from partners within MHP to help more people realise their potential.

For more information on our supported services please visit the Metropolitan Support Trust website or contact us on 020 7501 2300.

In Cambridgeshire, Granta Housing Society runs its own supported housing and care services as do Spirita in the Midlands.

New migration

The Migration Foundation seeks to understand migration and make life better for whole communities. It does this through:

  • funding projects in partnership that benefit new migrants and the communities that they live in
  • research and evaluation to find out what works and what does not
  • sharing what we learn to influence policy and practice to the benefit of all.
