What we do
Housing associations
Through our member organisations Metropolitan Housing Trust, Clapham Park Homes, Granta Housing Society and Spirita we:
- own or manage homes in London, Cambridgeshire, the Midlands and South Yorkshire
- work with councils, developers and charities to regenerate housing estates and create new social housing.
Affordable housing
Metropolitan Home Ownership
- provides affordable housing through part ownership
- enables people to buy their council or housing association home.
Support services
Metropolitan Support Trust provides support services to
- refugees and asylum seekers
- vulnerable people such as older and younger people, and those living with mental illness or addiction.
New migration
The Migration Foundation seeks to understand migration and make life better for whole communities. It does this through:
• funding projects in partnership that benefit new migrants and the communities that they live in
• research and evaluation to find out what works and what does not
• sharing what we learn to influence policy and practice to the benefit of all.
Metropolitan Housing Partnership
- gives strategic direction to the member organisations
- is home to corporate services such as IT, human resources, communications and finance, allowing our member organisations to concentrate on their core activities.
