Housing management
Housing management is at the heart of our business. Through Metropolitan Housing Trust, Spirita, Clapham Park Homes and Granta Housing Society, we work with partners, local authorities, developers and charities to regenerate housing estates and create new social housing.
We work closely with our residents to ensure we manage their homes well, provide speedy repairs and give support when it's needed.
Managing mixed tenure sites
Mixed tenure schemes are those occupied by our tenants and leaseholders, as well as private owners and tenants of other housing associations.
While other estate managers separate their service management by tenure, our mixed tenure housing management provides the same efficient and consistent service for residents of every tenure. For example, we use one contractor to provide a quality cleaning and gardening service to all residents.
Maintaining estate properties
We are committed to a long term investment in our housing stock so it is in our interest that our properties are well-maintained.
We work with contractors who provide services for gardens, repairs and entry phone systems. Because we are a large and well-established organisation, we have the clout to get value for money from the contractors we work with. As a result, we are able to keep service charges to a minimum.
