Metropolitan Housing Partnership appoint new Group Customer Services Director

Metropolitan Housing Partnership (MHP) is pleased to announce the appointment of Aniekan Umoren as the new Customer Services Director.  She will oversee the group’s customer service and officially join the organisation on Monday 16th August. Aniekan joins MHP from her current role as Managing Director, South, at Places for People.

Previously having worked at Circle Anglia, Hackney Council, New Islington and Hackney Housing Association and London Borough of Newham, Aniekan has held various roles and executive positions within both Local Government and the Housing Association sectors. She is also a qualified Barrister and a corporate member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.

She has also worked in a voluntary capacity chairing Path (London), been on the board of large London housing associations and is currently chair of The Forum, a leadership development and networking organisation for BME leaders in the sector.

Aniekan said of her new appointment: “I consider myself a people person and really looking forward to getting stuck into my new role at MHP”.

Bill Payne, Chief Executive Officer of MHP, said of the announcement: “I am delighted that Ms Aniekan will be joining as Customer Services Director. Aniekan brings a wealth of experience gained in most aspects of housing and related services.”
