Museji Ahmed Takolia – Chairman
Museji was appointed as non-executive Group Chairman of MHP in July 2003 with specific remit to lead the Board through the modernisation of its governance and support the next phase of its growth and diversification. His career spans community relations, local and central government and he was also a Director and Head of the Global Diversity Practice at Norman Broadbent, part of the Barkers Norman Broadbent Group PLC.
A former Commonwealth Fund Harkness Fellow, he is a graduate of the universities of Cambridge, Bristol and the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton. Active in community work and as a non-executive, he has been appointed a Trustee of the UK Ethnic Minority Foundation and is a Board Member of Chair of Innovation Technology Solutions (INVTS) Ltd. In November 2006, he was appointed to the OFSTED board. Previously he has served as a Commissioner on the Government's Commission for Health Improvement (CHI) and as a member of the Council and Governing Executive Ruskin College, Oxford.
Museji is the Chair of MHP's Nominations, Pensions and Remuneration Committees, a member of the Finance Committee and a Board Member of Metropolitan Ivydale Ltd, Metropolitan Living Ltd, and Clapham Park Development Ltd.
