Howard Webber – Non Executive Director
Appointed to the MHP Board 2008. Howard Webber is Chief Executive of Postwatch, the independent consumer council for postal services. In this role he champions the rights of all users of mail services and post offices.
Educated at the Universities of Birmingham (law) and Harvard (public administration), Howard has spent a career in the public sector, though with many years' experience working with the voluntary, community and arts sectors.
He had seven years as Chief Executive of the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority, and twenty years as a volunteer with the Samaritans. Among his non-executive roles has been Board membership of Battersea Arts Centre and of Ovarian Cancer Action.
