MHP announces Barbara Roche nominated as new Chair of the Board

The MHT Board has decided that Barbara Roche will be nominated for appointment as its new Chair of the Board and the Metropolitan Housing Partnership at its next meeting in September. Barbara has been chair of Metropolitan Support Trust, a subsidiary of MHT since April 2007 and is currently Deputy Chair of the MHT Board and the Partnership - she was appointed to this role in January 2008.

Barbara is a former MP and Government Minister; at the Home Office, Treasury, Cabinet Office, ODPM and the DTI. A barrister by profession Barbara worked for a number of years at an inner city law centre.
