Howard Webber – Non-executive Director 

Howard WebberAppointed to the MHP Board in 2008. Howard spent a career in the public sector, with many years' experience working with the voluntary, community and arts sectors. Howard was Chief Executive of Postwatch, the independent consumer council for postal services, for three years, championing the rights of all users of mail services and post offices. He was educated at the Universities of Birmingham (law) and Harvard (public administration), and is currently studying for a Master's degree in history at King's College London.

 

Howard served for seven years as Chief Executive of the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority, and twenty years as a volunteer with the Samaritans. His non-executive roles include board membership of Battersea Arts Centre and Ovarian Cancer Action, and he is on the board of the premium rate phone regulator, PhonepayPlus.
